Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of intelligent effort. - John Ruskin
John Michael Crotty, originally hails from the San Francisco Bay Area. While growing up in the bay, he cultivated his major passions: administration, education, theatrical stage management and the culinary arts.
As he developed these passions on the west coast, John reached great heights including graduating from San Francisco State University, co-founding a small grassroots theatre company, producing numerous theatre pieces around San Francisco, stage managing at the city's major performance spaces.
In 2005, John Michael made his way to the east coast. In New York City, John further developed his work ethic and skills in all of the art forms as well as non profit administration. He continued to immerse himself in his passions, keeping administration, theatre and the culinary arts ever present in his every-day life... whether he's flexing his stage manager muscles in one of New York's many hallowed venues, like Carnegie Hall or managing a communications department in one of NYC most influential non-profit organizations, John Michael is continually honing his skills. He takes pride in meeting each challenge with diligence, talent, and excitement. John's work ethic has rewarded him with very rich experiences taking him internationally both administratively and in the fine arts.
In the winter of 2016, John found himself in need of a change from NYC and he moved back to the west coast. John currently resides in the beautiful city of Seattle and enjoys the stunning beauty of the Pacific North West on a daily basis. Here is exploring the beauty of the surrounding nature as well as finding his place within this beautiful and exciting new place, both professionally and personally.
